And it's Mbappe, who joined PSG for £166 million two years ago, who is deemed to be the most valuable player at €200 million. His compatriot Antoine Griezmann, now a Barcelona player, is rated €130 million, with fellow French stars Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kante and Ousmane Dembele all deemed to be worth €100 million.

Mbappe's PSG partner in crime Neymar is the second most expensive on the list at €180 million euros, while Lionel Messi and Harry Kane are both rated €150 million.

Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho are just behind Kane in the England rankings on €140 million and €100 million respectively after their blistering seasons - with Sterling's City teammates Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva also pushing triple figures.

Cristiano Ronaldo may be 34 years of age now but his 28 goals and 10 assists in his debut season at Juventus gives him a market value of €90 million - just short of what the Bianconeri paid to prize him away from Real Madrid.

Marco Verratti and Saul Niguez have the highest value when it comes to Italy and Spain respectively,

Earlier this year, Jose Mourinho stressed that Mbappe was indeed the most valuable player around today - deeming him to be the full package despite him still having room to get even better.

"For a player like Mbappe, when you speak about the future, you don't need to say what he's going to be like in five years' time, in 10 years' time," Mourinho said during an appearance as a pundit on beIN SPORTS back in March.

"Just focus on now. He's absolutely incredible. I think going by his age and [and considering] the age of Cristiano, of Messi, [both] over 30, Neymar is 27... when you go to the market level and age is also a factor, I think he's the most valuable player in the world.

"In a hypothetical transfer, he's the most expensive player in football now. In terms of his qualities, [he is] unbelievable. One word is enough. It means everything."
