Falcao also received a warm welcome when he landed in Turkey to sign his contract.

Thousands and thousands of fans turned up at Istanbul airport to greet the ex-Manchester United and Chelsea star and the scenes were crazy.

Since joining AS Monaco from Atletico Madrid for a reported £50 million in 2013, 'El Tigre' has scored 83 goals in 139 appearances for the Principality outfit - winning the Ligue One title under Leonardo Jardim in 2017.

He'll now ply his trade at the home of the 22-time Turkish champions.

The 33-year-old has signed a three-year contract and he'll be paid a net transfer fee of £4.5 million for three seasons starting from the 2019/2020 campaign.
