Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to show no signs of slowing down after scoring a sensational header against Napoli this evening.

The Swede is now 39 years of age but you wouldn't know it by the way he is performing in Serie A. Tonight, Ibrahimovic notched in his eighth consecutive game in the Italian top flight and did so in superb fashion.

The ball was floated in from the left and the well-travelled striker made a decent cross from Theo Hernandez look sublime after producing the most wonderful header.

He beat Kalidou Koulibaly in the air just in front of the penalty spot and managed to direct the ball with some serious power so that it bounced into the far corner.

It was the former Barcelona, PSG and Manchester United striker's ninth goal of the season in what has been an unbelievable campaign from a player who missed four games due to COVID-19.

He's now scored one more goal in the league than five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, who has bagged eight for Juventus at the ripe old age of 35.

Ibrahimovic's professional career started all the way back in 1999 with Malmo but he's now out here proving that age is just a number.

In fact, his agent Mino Raiola reckons he has the capacity to play until he's 50 - even after suffering a devastating ACL injury a few years back.

"He will play football until they have to take him away on a stretcher," Raiola told volkskrant.nl.

"He can continue until he is 50 but only if he plays at high levels, he can continue.

"He has resurrected all of Milan, he is 90 per cent of that team."
