1.5 million football fans have voted on the Champions League team of the season and its absolute fire.

There's just one game left of the 2018/19 Champions League campaign and ahead of Saturday's showpiece, BT Sport have revealed their team of the season as voted by the fans.

In goal, Liverpool's Alisson who produced an unbelievable save against Napoli to book a spot in the knockout stage.

He has three of his teammates in defence. Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson. 19-year-old centre-back Matthijs de Ligt completes the back-line.

The Ajax captain has been imperious at the back, and he's chipped in with a few goals, too - most notably versus Juventus in the quarter-finals.

Spurs' Brazilian hero makes up the three-pronged attack. He starred for his side in Amsterdam as he netted a stunning hat-trick to complete a remarkable comeback.

Of course, there's a few notable absentees. From Ajax's Hakim Ziyech to Son Heung-min.

Meanwhile, Liverpool face Tottenham in Madrid for all the marbles.
