The advert well and truly changed the game...

No matter what picture Kim Kardashian posts on Instagram, or how many followers an egg managed to accrue, Ronaldinho was the man responsible for breaking the internet.

Back in 2005, Nike struck gold when they decided to put Ronaldo de Assis Moreira to work in order to promote their new pair of Nike Tiempo boots.

What followed is almost three minutes of footage that would prompt debate as to whether it was actually legitimate, but even if Ronaldinho isn't actually playing 'keepie uppie one-two's' with the crossbar, it doesn't take away from our enjoyment of the video at all.

The advert became the first video to amass 1 million views on YouTube, which is a monumental achievement considering it was back in an era where Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites weren't even a thing.

10 years on, Nike would then re-release the video on their channel to mark its anniversary and the commercial currently sits on over 8 million views.

The former Barcelona star is still living his best life in 2019. Last week, Ronaldinho put his boots and headband back on in a friendly game for Colombian outfit Sante Fe and marked his return to action with an outrageous no-look assist.

R10 has played in various charity games in recent years but hasn't played competitively since his spell with Fluminense in 2015. You wouldn't know it judging by the magic the 39-year old conjured up in a 2-0 win over Atletico Nacional though.

He rolled back the years when he delivered the most delightfully-weighted pass that opened up the opposition backline and was finished confidently by Jose Luis Caicedo.

Even better, the king of Samba sauce laid on the inch-perfect assist while looking in the opposite direction - a signature move throughout the former Barcelona superstar's illustrious career at the top level. That's what you call a flex.
