Nigel De Jong has expressed his disbelief at Newcastle United being linked to Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.
Newcastle lost 4-0 to Leicester on Sunday afternoon and Tielemans scored twice in a dominant performance.

They're currently 19th in the Premier League and looking to strengthen in January in a bid to avoid relegation.
De Jong was asked about Newcastle's chances of signing Tielemans and he had a priceless reaction.
“At the stage of where they are in right now, you can’t be serious? Do you believe it?” he asked Richard Keys and Andy Gray.

Tielemans joined the Foxes on loan from French outfit Monaco in January 2019 and impressed in a major way.
He earned a permanent move that summer for a fee of £40 million and remains one of the league's top midfielders.
Leicester's win was the perfect response to their Europa League elimination on Thursday evening, with Patson Daka and James Maddison also getting on the scoresheet.
Brendan Rodgers' side will be playing Europa Conference League football from February, but he was pleased with his team's response.
“To keep a clean sheet against very dangerous players, I am very pleased,” Rodgers told the Telegraph.

“When you come off the back of a disappointing result during the week, it’s been a huge challenge. But we’ve always tried to develop a culture which supports players and gives others an opportunity.
“To be in eighth now with everything we’ve gone through and with European football, I’m very proud of the players. There’s still lots to improve on so we just need to get over this period now.”
Elsewhere, Maddison got involved in the strangest beef of the weekend - with Geordie Shore star Scotty T.
The 25-year-old won a controversial penalty in the first half with the scores 0-0 after being hauled down by Jamaal Lascelles.

It brought the fury of Scotty T who called Maddison a 'cheating c**t' alongside a picture of diver Tom Daley.
Maddison then replied: "Always preferred Gaz anyway."
Scotty then followed that up with: "Bravo - he made a funny. Even made the Leicester fans laugh (who boo’ed their team off last week).
"Sadly - there’s generations of young footballers who idolise role models like this… who are teaching them it’s OK to dive and CHEAT. The wider footballing world knows the score."
