Mo Salah's Highlights Against Watford Prove He's The Best Player In The World

Mo Salah was unplayable against Watford, scoring a sumptuous solo goal as well as laying on a wonderful assist.

Mo Salah's outstanding performance for Liverpool in the 5-0 hammering of Watford on Saturday only further cemented his status as the best player in the world right now.

The Egyptian star was unplayable throughout at Vicarage Road and it was quite clear he was in the mood very early on in the early kick-off.

First Salah produced one of the assists of the season when he laid on the most wonderful outside of the boot pass for Sadio Mane's 100th Premier League goal nine minutes into the game.

That passage of play somehow ended up being secondary for Salah as he managed to go one better in the second half, scoring one of the goals of the season for the second consecutive Premier League game.

Salah slalomed through the whole Watford backline and fizzed one past Ben Foster for his seventh Premier League goal so far this term.

Jaws dropped all over the world, with Jurgen Klopp's facial expression perfectly summing up how everyone reacted to the worldie.

Even with Roberto Firmino scoring a hat-trick in the rout, Salah was still the star of the stow and earned the Man of the Match award for a complete display that might just send Danny Rose into an early retirement.

He's been world-class for a number of years now but what we saw today was more evidence that Salah is in his own league at the moment.

His highlights are truly a joy to watch as we feast eyes on an elite player performing at the very top of his game.

Karim Benzema and Robert Lewandowski have also been doing the business on a consistent basis in recent times but Klopp is in doubt that no-one is doing what Salah is doing at the moment.

“Come on, who is better than him?” Klopp said post-match in an interview with BT Sport.

“We don’t have to talk about what Messi and Ronaldo have done for world football and their dominance but, right now, he is the best.

“His performance was massive. The pass for the first goal was great and the second goal was special. He is top, we all see it.”
