Mo Salah Produces Filthy Outside Of The Boot Pass For Sadio Mane Opener

Mo Salah Produces Filthy Outside Of The Boot Pass For Sadio Mane Opener

Mo Salah came up with the assist of the season so far to set up Sadio Mane against Watford.

Mo Salah scored the best goal of the season so far in his last Liverpool outing against Manchester City and he might just have produced the best assist against Watford today.

The Egyptian King looked in the mood from the off at Vicarage Road and after a number of bright moments early on, Salah set up Sadio Mane in exquisite fashion for the opener.

The former Roma man displayed impressive strength to body Danny Rose before having the vision and execution to pull off the most outrageous outside of the boot pass.

After being picked out perfectly, Mane rolled the ball past Ben Foster to put Jurgen Klopp's side 1-0 up. It also marked a huge milestone for the Senegal international as it was his 100th Premier League goal.

But it was all about the assist from Salah, who is almost definitely the best player in the Premier League at the moment and possibly world football on the whole given his form.

He's been world-class for a number of years and scored a hatful of goals but it feels like he's found another level and is full of confidence at the moment.

It's not just the goals as well, Salah has become a serious playmaker and there was no better example than what he conjured up today.

Liverpool extended their lead at the end of the first half when Roberto Firmino tapped home a James Milner cross from yards out.
