Manchester United Fans Could Be Heard Shouting 'Ole Out' At Roy Keane On Friday

Manchester United Fans Could Be Heard Shouting 'Ole Out' At Roy Keane On Friday

Keane was on commentary during England's World Cup qualifier against Albania but fans were still concentrating on United's poor form.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can't even avoid criticism during the international break, as fans shouted 'Ole Out,' at Roy Keane during ITV's broadcast.

Life at Manchester United has been very hard for Solskjaer in recent weeks, having been absolutely battered by rivals Liverpool and Manchester City at home.

Even the four points from two games against Atalanta in the Champions League have been full of criticism for the manager, with his side having to come from behind in both games to salvage their European campaign.

The international break has not given the Norwegian any respite though and he was under the spotlight for giving the players not on national duty the week off, and going to his home country for a rest himself.

And it hasn't ended there, according to the Mirror, fans could be heard shouting "Ole Out" towards Keane as he was giving analysis on television during England's win over Albania on Friday night.

Whilst the Irishman is a former teammate of Solskjaer, the former United captain has not held back over his criticism of the team, and the manager, unlike Gary Neville.

Neville has refused to call out his 'mate' on television, despite the Red Devils already being nine points off top spot and five off the top four.

Even Rio Ferdinand's change of tune over the manager has not led to Neville turning on the 1999 Champions League final goalscorer.

Keane, in typical fashion, has passionately ripped into the boss, over his continued use of Fred, and the players and went as far as saying he'd 'given up,' after the performance against City.

The 50-year-old was even calling Harry Maguire 'embarrassing' during England's win against Albania, after the centre back celebrated his goal by cupping his ears.

Maguire's form has been poor and Keane referred to the United captain as recently being 'a disgrace' for how he's played for the club.

His criticism didn't end there, when discussing United's English attacking trio of Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, the former Ipswich manager suggested something was 'amiss' at their club.

"Every case is different, [Jadon] Sancho hasn't been getting many minutes recently.

"The issue I suppose with [Marcus] Rashford and [Mason] Greenwood is that whenever they're selected it seems to be an issue.

"I know they've had injuries, I understand that, but we know their quality and when Gareth is asked about them he says 'yeah I spoke to Marcus...' It seems like a big conversation.

"It's as if there's something going wrong, there's something amiss with some of these United lads."

Friday wasn't the first time Keane's had something shouted at him recently when just trying to do his job, with one United fan calling him an 'absolute pr**k' following the loss to City.
