Lionel Messi And Sergio Ramos Appear To Have Their First PSG Argument After 'Unneeded' Tackle

Lionel Messi And Sergio Ramos Appear To Have Their First PSG Argument After 'Unneeded' Tackle

Well, they got on for a year.

Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos appear to have had their first disagreement at Paris Saint-Germain and cameras caught the whole exchange.

Messi and Ramos were bitter rivals for 16 years during their time at Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.

Last summer, they became teammates after sealing moves to PSG as free agents and everyone immediately asked the same question: Can they co-exist?

PSG won Ligue 1 last season with Messi and Ramos on good terms throughout the campaign.

The more things change, the more they stay the same however. Ramos attempted to tackle Messi in training and caught the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner with his trailing leg.

Messi went on to score and after doing so immediately glared at Ramos. The World Cup winner attempted to calm things down and put his hand on Messi's head, but he was clearly frustrated.

He was probably back at the Camp Nou or Santiago Bernabeu for one split second ready to go to war.

Fans have reacted to the footage and they think it is hilarious.

One person said: "Ramos back to his Real Madrid form and Messi back to his Barcelona mode against all other clubs."

Another put: "Some things just don’t change."

A third commented: "Haha Ramos was like 'sorry bro muscle memory'."

While someone tweeted: "I knew them being friends was bs looool."

PSG are unbeaten in pre-season under new manager Christophe Galtier.

Galtier replaced Mauricio Pochettino earlier this month and has been tasked with resetting the club's culture.

Despite spending billions, the Ligue 1 champions are yet to win the Champions League.

Player attitudes have been questioned in the past and Galtier, who won Ligue 1 with Lille in 2021, has introduced three strict rules.

Per Marca, phones are not permitted while players have breakfast and lunch in a bid to bring the squad closer together and bring about more unity.

All players must eat their meals together at the club's Camp des Loges to avoid any cliques emerging, while lateness is not being tolerated whatsoever.

The 55-year-old has instructed players to arrive for training between 8:30 and 8:45 and if they are not on time without a valid and reasonable explanation, they will be sent home.

It's said the regulations have been taken to well by the group.
