Carlo Ancelotti will be one of the most sought after bosses in world football when he finally decides to come back into management. For now though he's keeping an eye on things and has named the best eight strikers.

It seems weird to think but having won three Champions League titles as a manager, including the infamous La Decima that Real Madrid were so desperate for, but Carlo Ancelotti might actually be an underrated manager.

The Italian is currently out of the game following a very short stint at Bayern Munich. After taking over from Pep Guardiola the former PSG boss won the Bundesliga in his first season but just months after was sacked.

It seems to have been the correct decision as Bayern have now gone top of the league and won't be caught now. Ancelotti decided to time out of the game before taking his new job.

However despite not managing right now he's clearly kept his eye on the game. In an interview with Calciomercato he revealed who he thinks will do well in the Champions League and who is in the top eight strikers, saying:

"This Juventus is from last season's Champions League final, its their goal. It has played two finals in the last three seasons. It's more difficult to get to the final this time. City is my favorite and are stronger than United. Real in crisis? I don't think so.

"On the field, Juventus always get the results just as its happening now because they have immense defensive solidarity. But with Tottenham, it won't be simple. In Harry Kane, they've got one of the best strikers in the world with Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo, Lewandowski, Neymar and Cavani and I would also put Mbappe."

Having finished top of a group that included both Real and Borussia Dortmund, who were top of the Bundesliga when Ancelotti were sacked, Spurs have probably got one of the harder draws they might have expected in Juventus.

However Ancelotti clearly feels that Kane gives them a real chance of beating the Old Lady.

Manchester United fans won't be too happy, but ultimately unsurprised, to find that the three time winner believes that Manchester City are more likely winners, and his favourites, than the Red Devils.

Real's troubles in La Liga clearly don't worry the Italian too much either.

Ancelotti has recently been linked with the Italy job but wants to return to club football, no one would bet against him one day winning a fourth Champions League title, would they?
