Salah Gives Young Egyptian Lad A Liverpool Shirt In Truly Beautiful Gesture

Salah is one of the good guys.

Here's proof (if you needed it) that Mohamed Salah is one of the nicest blokes in football.

The Egyptian king returned to England following a nightmarish stint with Chelsea by signing for Liverpool from AS Roma, in the summer.

Since being back in the Premier League, he's absolutely tearing it up.

He's already weighed in with 19 (!!) league goals from just 24 games, with only Spurs' prolific striker Harry Kane scoring more this campaign.

While also creating plenty from the left wing.

And he's just as giving off the field, too.

A young Egyptian boy, Mohamed Abdel Karim, surfaced wearing a tattered shirt with 'M.SALAH' scribbled on the back.

Salah saw the footage on Arabic television, and duly took actions into his own hands.

He then got in touch with presenter Mai Helmy. Asking her to relay a brand spanking Liverpool shirt. And not just any shirt but one customised with 'M.SALAH' and his number on the back.

The shirt was passed onto young Mohamed who donned it with joy.

Class gesture, Mohamed. You sir are a legend.

Though football fans shouldn't be surprised by this wonderful gesture.

He continues to give back to his country, and village with the mayor of Nagrig detailing his charitable goodness.

"Salah highlighted his small village on the international map. He also built a charity and will build a school that costs millions," Maher Shetia said via Liverpool Echo.

"This is in addition to his donations to Basioun hospital with a complete ventilation room, incubation and an ambulance unit."

Salah's latest act of kindness is reminiscent to the story involving Lionel Messi and the Afghanistan boy who wore a plastic bag as a shirt.

The beautiful game.
