Ryan Giggs Gets His First Job In Football Since Leaving Manchester United

That didn't take too long!

Ryan Giggs clearly hasn't been moping around his house since leaving Manchester United as the Old Trafford has already got himself a job back in football. Although in a surprise move he's swapped his tracksuit for his shin pads and boots!

That's right the one club man is about to become a two club man as he comes out of retirement, kind of. Giggs will be off to India to join the new Premier Futsal league which starts on July 15th and runs till the 24th.

The six-a-side tournament will take place in eight cities in India this month and is a bit IPL esque and will do wonders to promote the lesser known format of football. Giggs joins his former United teammate Paul Scholes in the tournament along with Ronaldinho and Hernan Crespo who have both been recently announced as joining.

Giggs left United after 29 years at the club as a youth player, first team member, assistant manager and caretaker manager after Jose Mourinho was appointed as manager, a role Giggs wanted for himself.

After a stint on ITV as a pundit for Euro 2016 the former winger is expected to get into management once his time in India is over.

As well as Scholes, Portugal legend Figo and Futsal star Falcao had already been announced as playing in India before Giggs, Ronaldinho and Crespo joined the list.
