It's been an intriguing week in the Premier League even at the top. Okay not quite right at the top but below Manchester City. But which of the top six will finish in the top four.
This is a weird Premier League season. Right at the top things have been pretty settled since around September time when the two Manchester clubs stopped matching each others results and City started walking away with it.
Then there's been the usual battle to finish in the other three top four spaces for the remaining five members of the league's infamous top six.

Outside of that battle there's basically mid table obscurity for about two teams and an almighty scrap between the rest to see who exactly will go down.

In mid week the top six had an interesting time of things with Arsenal and Chelsea both surprisingly dropping points, Liverpool bouncing back from previous bad results and Spurs beating Manchester United.

But who exactly will qualify for the Champions League and who will miss out?
Talking on BT Sports last night two men with plenty of experience of the battle, Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard picked their top four with Lampard saying:
"Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham. Liverpool defensively still haven't dealt with their weaknesses. They are great going forward but they've lost Coutinho as well."
Ferdinand agreed, adding, "I'll go Man City, Man United, Spurs and I'll put Chelsea in. The Hazard effect, if he continues to perform and he stays fit, then he carries them into the top four.

"I think Liverpool will slip out the top four. Defensively, like Frank said, they're not strong enough. Going forward, they're fantastic and great to watch."
Perhaps if Steven Gerrard had been in the studio then the results might have been different.
The Reds had lost to Swansea last week, having become the first side to beat City in the league the week before, but beat Huddersfield on Tuesday.

Arsenal themselves lost to the Swans on Tuesday before Chelsea dropped points to Bournemouth at home and Spurs out played United at Wembley on Wednesday.
