Liverpool's 'Egyptian King' inspired his side to an amazing victory against AS Roma.

Mohamed Salah continued to enhance his legendary Anfield status with another stunning performance, inspiring Liverpool to victory against AS Roma in the Champions League.

He bagged two goals including an outrageous strike to open the scoring against his former side.

Not to mention creating two goals. Setting up Sadio Mane then 'Bobby' Firmino.

In short, Salah ran the show.

And it wasn't just his contribution to Liverpool's goals which sent the Kop end into euphoria.

With four goals on the board, and Salah looking for more, he entered into party mode, ruining not one but TWO AS Roma players.

Daniele De Rossi, look away.

Stop it, Mo!

Naturally, Salah's match-winning performance attracted wide spread acclaim, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp singing his praises in the press conference.

"In that shape, [he was] outstanding - pretty much not to defend, to be honest," he said.

Klopp added: "In the first 15 minutes, we needed to learn a little bit, to adapt to the formation of the opponent. Then we played how we played. He has a massive impact on that, of course.

"The first goal is just a genius strike. He's already scored a few like this - that makes it even more special. It makes it clear it is no coincidence. The second goal was brilliant play. Then he makes the other two goals.

"If you think he's the best in the world, write it or say it. He is in outstandingly good shape, in world-class shape, 100 per cent. That's good.

"To be the best in the world you need to do that over a longer period, I think. There are a few others who are not too bad. He is a fantastic player and I'm really happy to have him."

'The Egyptian King' will be seeking to improve his Premier League goal tally this weekend when they host Stoke City.

With 31 league goals to his name, and five ahead of Spurs' Harry Kane, the race for the Golden Boot is hotting up.

But, like many, my money's on the PFA's Player of the Year.
