They're the two most successful goalkeepers of their generation and today the question was asked: Who's better? Gianluigi Buffon or Iker Casillas?
The official Champions League Twitter account asked the question and both of the great number ones answered, sharing a 'bromantic' moment in the process.

Casillas was first to answer, rather modestly telling the Juventus and Italy captain that he believed his Italian counterpart to be the superior of the two:
Buffon would respond in diplomatic fashion, stating that he wouldn't choose because he felt that they were both the best:

With two World Cups, 12 league titles and 334 international caps between them (167 each respectively) there's very little if anything to choose between the pair.
Could AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma go onto emulate Buffon and Casillas?

although you could argue that Casillas' last couple of years at the Bernabeu were not his best and his loss of the Spain number one jersey to David De Gea is in stark comparison to Buffon who, three years his elder, continues to shine between the sticks for Juventus and the Italian national team.
But why argue about who's better? Let's just be safe in the knowledge that they're quite clearly best mates and definitely meet up for a big 'goalies only' sesh with Edwin Van Der Sar, Oliver Kahn and Peter Schmeichel once a month.
