Welcome to the football universe Internacional Club de Futbol Miami, or Inter Miami as they'll no doubt end up being known as. That's the name of David Beckham's franchise that will join the MLS in the future.
We were always pretty sure that we were going to love David Beckham's MLS franchise when it finally came into existence, mainly because who doesn't love everything that Beckham does, and he hasn't disappointed.
The former Manchester United winger has been trying to start up his own franchise for about four years and got the go ahead for a Miami team at the beginning of the year with Beckham saying in a statement in January, "Our mission to bring an MLS club to Miami is now complete, and we are deeply satisfied, grateful and excited."
The details about the team weren't fully known until today. The club revealed their name, the club crest, the colours they'll be playing in and the year they'll be starting in the MLS.

Today, we're proud to announce the official crest of that club.

There's definitely a Miami Vice, 80s feel to the crest and the pink and black colours are reminiscent of Palermo, a kit that pretty much every football fan loves.
Beckham announced in 2014 that he intended to buy an MLS franchise but it was as far back as 2007 that he'd been planning this as the right to buy a team was part of the contract that took him to LA Galaxy from Real Madrid.
The roman numerals on the crest reveal that they will start in the MLS in 2020 although it's not expected that their new stadium will be ready until 2021.
We can't wait to see Beckham's franchise in the MLS. What do you make of the name and crest?
