The Liverpool defender hasn't had the best of times since moving from Southampton to Anfield and this won't help his confidence.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are picking up a reputation of being a bit hopeless when it comes to defending. The last thing the German would want is a former player at the club taking the piss out of one of his centre backs.

Fans at Anfield are suffering from a bit of deja vu as week by week it seems that Liverpool dominate, can't put away enough of their chances and then will suffer from a lack of concentration at the back and concede.

With a forward line that includes the likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Daniel Sturridge it feels like at some point the chances will be converted into goals.

The bigger issue might be at the back where Klopp has admitted that signing one player won't instantly help. He could do with more from his current centre backs.

But Dejan Lovren has been handed a hilarious blow by former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann, who won the Champions League with the Reds, after the German trolled him on Twitter:

And fans were loving the former Manchester City man's response to the story:

In the Liverpool Echo interview with the former Southampton defender he admitted to struggling through pain to play in recent matches saying, "I have problems with my whole body for the last two weeks, my back and now I have hurt my Achilles tendon. I am taking pills so I can play, five before every game.

"I play but I cannot train at all. That's why I skipped matches against Manchester City and Burnley."

It doesn't sound good for Dejan right now.
