Eric Cantona managed to annoy Neymar's entourage so much during Manchester United's Champions League win over PSG that the Brazilian's dad had to be taken away from the Frenchman as a fight nearly broke out.

Manchester United fans had every reason to be loud on Wednesday night with their team overcoming PSG, and history, to make it through to the quarter finals of the Champions League.

Amongst those in the Parc des Princes enjoying the drama of Marcus Rashford's injury time penalty winner were Paul Pogba, suspended for the game after his first leg red card, and former United players Patrice Evra and Eric Cantona.

Those around Evra were apparently annoyed with the amount of noise and celebrating made by the left back when United scored their winning goal but it was Cantona causing more issues.

According to RMC, Cantona's actions in his box, not far away from where PSG player Neymar and his entourage were, angered the Brazilian and nearly ended in blows.

The French newspaper says that the former striker made a gesture towards Neymar's guests that annoyed them so much that Neymar's 'old man' left his box to go to Cantona's and then approached the Frenchman's friend in a violent manner before a security guard split things up.

Cantona then went off to join his former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, in the changing room to congratulate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and all the players.

If it had turned into a fight you've got to assume that Cantona would have thrown a punch, landed nowhere near papa Neymar and the Brazilian would have still gone down clutching his face and missed the referees 10 count, yes in my head it's turned from a scuffle into an actual boxing fight with a ref and everything.

Neymar was clearly shocked at the penalty that saw United win the game 3-1, and go through on away goals, as he looked on from the sidelines utterly bemused.

The Brazilian missed both games through an injury and could have made a huge difference.

What's the most you've been annoyed at the end of a game?
