Zlatan Ibrahimovic brought up his 500th career goal at the weekend in the most Zlatan way possible and was then involved in a delightful back and forth with MLS alumni David Beckham.

There's not been many forwards in the current era than Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Wherever he's gone he's scored goals, looked good doing it and always managed to win silverware, no matter the country.

Ibra was a major success in Netherlands with Ajax, in Italy with Inter, Juventus and Milan and in France with PSG, where he became the club's all time top scorer, whilst his stints in Spain with Barcelona and England with Manchester United were brief but still saw him score regularly.

The Swede's end at United was blighted by injury but he's now moved to the MLS and become an instant hit with new side LA Galaxy.

Ibra has already bagged himself 17 goals in 22 games and his latest strike on Saturday night brought up his 500th career goal, with an unreal karate kick goal.

Now he's been congratulated on social media by David Beckham, an alumni at Galaxy and a former teammate of the striker's at PSG.

There's not many people who could get away with telling Zlatan he's old but it seems that Beckham is one of them, although most men could forgive Becks anything in fairness.

The 36 year old replied to his former colleague joking that was one thing he could certainly improve on.

The incredible goal at the weekend wasn't enough to help LA to a result as they found themselves the wrong end of a 5-3 loss to Toronto, leaving them ninth in the Eastern Conference.

How many goals will Zlatan finish his career on?
