Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals What Age He'll Quit Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo already has four Ballon d'Ors to his name and you expect should Real Madrid win on Saturday that will soon be five but how many will he have by the time he retires all depends on what age that happens.

On Saturday in Cardiff Real Madrid have the chance to make history by becoming the first team to defend the Champions League trophy.

That would mean completing a European and league title double for only the third time in the what would be 12 times they've won the European Cup or Champions League.

Doing better in Europe is pretty much the barometer that decides whether or not it will be Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo who wins the Ballon d'Or with the Real man catching up to the Barca player.

Most people think that Messi will finish his career better off than Ronaldo because the Portuguese wonderstar's career is likely to come to an end first.

But not according to him. Spanish TV station La Sexta asked if he'd like to play to 40, leaving him to say, "41! I said when I signed my latest contract that it would be my penultimate and that I would play on until I was 41."

The former Manchester United player was endlessly linked with a return to Old Trafford just before Sir Alex Ferguson left and even when David Moyes joined.

Ronaldo even admitted that he missed playing in England because of the memories he had of playing in the Premier League, "I'm very happy being in Spain but obviously I also miss England because you can't just turn off the memories."

Weirdly despite being the club's all time top goalscorer the Bernabeu faithful aren't always too happy with the 32 year-old and he has occasionally come in from rough treatment from his own fans.

In the interview Ronaldo revealed he doesn't like the whistling adding, "I don't like it and it's not normal that they whistle you in your own stadium. I just don't like it.

"It shouldn't be the case that a player who always wants to give his best and give 100 percent for this team when he makes his first mistake people whistle."

Can he win nine more Ballon d'Ors on the bounce?
