Inter Milan's First Home Kit Without Pirelli Is Quite Spectacular

There's lots of change at Inter Milan for next season and perhaps the strangest one for the Serie A champions is the shirt sponsor.

Inter Milan have released their new kit, to wear as defending Serie A champions, and it's pretty beautiful.

There's plenty of change at Inter this summer, despite ending their 11 year wait for a league title during last season, whilst ending Juventus' nine titles-in-a-row run.

The big change is obviously that Antonio Conte has left the club due to financial problems with the club, with Simeone Inzaghi brought in to replace him.

The more historical change is the news that Pirelli will no longer be the club's shirt sponsor, after an incredible 26 years on the front of the kit. In that time some of the shirts were truly iconic.

Inter have now released the new home shirt and it's also missing the traditional blue and black stripes but we can ignore that for how good it looks.

Instead of the usual vertical stripes, the kit design is a blue pixelated snakeskin, which also continues the theme of the new away kit.

The coiled grass snake, or Biscione, is a historic symbol for the city of Milan and it's been around 10 years since the club referenced it on one of their shirts.

Inter's new crest, which was revealed back in April, also features on the shirt, giving it a true modern feel.

There's no sponsor on the front of the shirt, but, like the away shirt, Chinese tech company Lenovo do appear on the rear of the shirt.

On Tuesday, Inter were able to send congratulations to striker Romelu Lukaku for earning his place in the Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament.

The Belgian forward, who scored four goals at the tournament, was linked with a move away from the San Siro because of the club's financial problems.

Former Manchester City player Trevor Sinclair even asked if they former Manchester United striker wanted to move to City, something he dismissed quite clearly.

Inter fans will be hoping to see him in their beautiful new kit next season.
