If there's one thing that can keep Manchester United fans happy at the moment, aside from Louis Van Gaal's almost certain impending departure at the end of the season (unless he miraculously pulls a fourth place finish and FA Cup triumph out of his arse) it's the memories of the trophy laden Sir Alex Ferguson era. And one of the most beloved figures of that era, David Beckham, has given United fans a reason to be cheerful this morning with his latest Instagram post.
United have officially released their blue away kit for the 16/17 season today, with David De Gea, Ashley Young, Juan Mata and Luke Shaw modelling it for the official Adidas launch photos. Yet the quartet from the current squad have been overshadowed by a blast from the past, with United and Adidas favourite Beckham sharing a photo of his own personalised kit on social media.
No offence, Ashley, David, Juan and Luke, but we think Dave's overshadowed your efforts, here.

No word as of yet as to whether Adidas are planning on sending the Europa League badges to Beckham to sew onto the sleeves for next season.
