Fans Vote Adidas Predators As The Greatest Football Boots Ever

Fans Vote Adidas Predators As The Greatest Football Boots Ever

It's official: Adidas Predators have been voted the best football shoes of all time.

SPORTbible ran a poll on Twitter asking users to vote for their favourite boots from a choice of four: Adidas Predators, Adidas F50s, Nike Mercurials and Nike Total 90.

Adidas Predators took over 50 per cent of the vote to win the poll, while Nike Mercurials finished second, Nike Total 90 came third and Adidas F50s was fourth.

In August, Adidas revealed that it had remastered a classic Predator design, which would look absolutely incredible for any footballer wearing them.

In 2014, Adidas released the Predator Instinct and the design was criticised by many people. In fact, it was a symbol of modern-day football. The classic design of a Predator had 'evolved.'

Four years later, though, the classic colour returned.

Red and black came back.

There's no denying now that the Predator is the undisputed king of footy shoes.
