Chelsea have announced a new deal with powerhouse sports apparel Nike. The Blues sign a 15-year deal worth a staggering £60 million a season. They've also paid £40 million to get out of the £30 million a year deal, terminating the Adidas contract six years early.
Nike's deal with Chelsea will begin next season putting an end to Chelsea and Adidas' partnership from 2006, while the new long-term deal will see them produce kits till 2032. The world's leading sports footwear and apparel company will also provide strips for the first team, Academy and Ladies teams.
Nike brand president Trevor Edwards addressed the link-up by saying; "Chelsea is a world-class club with a rich tradition and passionate fans across the globe."
While adding; "The partnership with Chelsea reinforces our leadership position in football. We are excited to help grow the club's global reach, serving players and supporters with Nike innovation and design."

After losing Manchester United, Chelsea will join Manchester City in teams sponsored by Nike in the Premier League, not to mention deals with the likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain as well as England, Brazil, France and U.S on the international scene.
