It's amazing what a few days with the Brazilian football team can do for a bad back, I might send my dad out there. After being too hurt to play for Liverpool, Coutinho was back with a magnificent goal.

Three games into the Premier League season and fans in England have yet to see anything of Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian has been carrying a back injury so hasn't played for Liverpool yet.

Whilst that has been going on there's been the small matter of Barcelona trying desperately to sign the former Inter midfielder, to try and replace Neymar.

The sort of money being talked about has been eye watering and despite the transfer window being closed in England it's still open in Spain so there's a tiny chance it could still happen.

If Coutinho does make it back to England then Reds' fans can be extremely excited by the goal he managed to score a brilliant goal against Ecuador in a World Cup qualifier last night:

From start to finish that is an absolutely beautiful goal and just highlights just how good a player Coutinho can be at his best.

On Sunday, without the 25 year old in the team, Liverpool took Arsenal to the cleaners and plenty were suggesting that they didn't need him in their attack with the likes of Muhammad Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino causing havoc.

Coutinho's friend, and Brazil football team doctor, Michael Simoni recently blamed the player's injury on stress saying:

"Coutinho back problem? He is okay now. The back problem was a matter of stress, it was something emotional.

"The uncertainty about his future led him to feeling stressed. Everything is solved now. Coutinho and I are friends since years, I always treat his medical cases. All he needed was someone to give him a pep talk."

He's clearly had a very relaxing bath then!
