Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah combined for a beautiful goal that shows the Premier League should be worried about their connection this season.

The pair were included in the Liverpool team that took on Hertha Berlin in a friendly this evening, with Coutinho wearing the captain's armband - and they didn't disappoint with some scintillating football at times.

That ball over the top was always on for Salah and it's no surprise that it took Coutinho just 15 minutes to find his range as he set up his team-mate for a brilliant goal.

Rounding one player before beating two others in his own half, the Brazilian playmaker pinged a lovely ball over the top of the Hertha defence for Salah to chip the goalkeeper first time:

That is a devastating combination that should have Premier League defences worried this season. Should Coutinho remain at Anfield, of course. The Brazilian magician has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona over the past couple of weeks with his compatriot Neymar expected to leave the Camp Nou for Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool ran out 3-0 winners, with Gini Wijnaldum and Dominic Solanke getting the goals before Salah added the third to put the shine on the win.

With two weeks of pre-season remaining before Liverpool get their league campaign underway, things are looking very promising for Jurgen Klopp's team.
