This afternoon's Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Everton at White Hart Lane had been a relatively tight affair for the opening 20 minutes.
Then Harry Kane decided to change all that.
Receiving the ball roughly 35 yards out, the England international lost his man and rapidly began embarking towards Joel Robles' goal.

Catching the Toffees' goalkeeper off guard, Kane unleashed an absolute piledriver of an effort from all of 25 yards to hand Spurs the lead.

Kane almost doubled his and Spurs' tally moments later but was denied by Robles as the momentum of the game began to tip in the favour of the home team, who could extend their lead over third placed Liverpool with victory over Everton, today.
Kane's effort is his 18th Premier League goal of the season and 23rd in all competitions.
