The Brazilian's sublime effort made it 7-1 to PSG, tonight

Peaking too soon is rarely an enjoyable experience and Celtic not only peaked too soon against Paris Saint-Germain tonight, but also had to try and deal with Neymar and co peaking all over them for the rest of the game.

OK, that's enough use of the word peak for about a fucking year.

Moussa Dembele fired the Scottish champions into an early lead in Paris, only for Neymar, Edinson Cavani, Kylian Mbappe, Marco Verratti and finally, Dani Alves to hit back for the Parisians, crushing Brendan Rodgers' men 7-1 at the Parc des Princes.

And it was Alves' stunning late effort that stole the show, putting the cherry on the icing on the cake of a rampant performance from Unai Emery's team.

The victory leaves PSG top of Group B with a maximum 15 points from five games, while Celtic sit in third place on just three, with just a Europa League place to play for when they take on Anderlecht in their final group game in a fortnight's time.
