Luis Suarez 2nd For Barcelona Against Deportivo Was The Perfect Team Goal

The Uruguayan has had his problems this season in front of goal but he had no issues yesterday, bagging a brace.

Barcelona might not always play with the wonderment that we have become accustomed to but when they turn it on it really is a thing of beauty if they showed with Luis Suarez' second goal at the weekend.

Right now in Europe Manchester City and PSG are the talk of the town and a lot of people's favourites when it comes to the Champions League this year but it would certainly be remiss of everyone to forget about Barcelona.

Before the season started Ernesto Valverde's side were expected to struggle, especially when they were battered by Real Madrid in the Supercopa, but ahead of the first league Clasico of the season they sit 11 points clear of their fierce rivals.

That comes even though they obviously lost Neymar in the summer and then lost his replacement Ousmane Dembele to injury whilst Luis Suarez has struggled with form for much of the season.

However on Sunday it was the former Liverpool forward who bagged twice and his second, Barca's third, against Deportivo was one of the great team goals with Catalan side moving the ball from defence to attack in a way only they can:

Despite having what has been described as a poor season Suarez has still bagged nine goals in 13 league starts for the La Liga leaders so far this term, which most strikers would be happy with.

Only Messi has scored more than him this season for Barcelona and the five time Ballon d'Or winner, who missed out to Cristiano Ronaldo for the trophy this year, is having a great time of it with 14 goals in 16 La Liga starts.

Messi failed to add to his tally in the match against 'Depor' when he once again failed to score a penalty, something that has weirdly become a bit of a fashion during his career.

When they really turn it on Barca are still a force to be reckoned with and watched with wonderment, tiki taka at its best!
