The hype surrounding Atletico Madrid and Antoine Griezmann may have subsided over the last 12-18 months, with Los Rojiblancos dropping into the Europa League and Griezmann's form dipping, this season, but nevertheless, the Frenchman was at his scintillating best during a 4-1 rout of FC Copenhagen, last night.

Diego Simeone's men effectively secured their passage to the last 16 of the Europa League with a dominant performance in Denmark, with the highlight being Griezmann's exquisite piece of skill in the build up to Kevin Gameiro's goal, which handed Atleti a 2-1 lead on the night.

Viktor Fischer had handed the hosts the lead before Saul Niguez equalised for the visitors, six minutes later.

And eight minutes before half-time, Atleti took the lead with an outrageously good team goal, which is sure to do the rounds on highlight reels for a long time to come, thanks in no small part to Griezmann effortlessly back heeling a first time pass through a hapless defender's legs.

Griezmann went onto add Atleti's third goal of the evening before Vitolo wrapped up the victory in the 77th minute.

Despite committing his future to Atleti last summer when the club were under a UEFA sanctioned transfer embargo, Griezmann is still expected to leave the Spanish capital, this summer, with Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea all being linked with a move for the former Real Sociedad forward.

But where will he end up and which club could use his services the most?
