Dinamo Zagreb's Dani Olmo just scored a beautiful volley against Manchester City, the team he was highly-linked with in Summer.

Dinamo Zagreb need a win to qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League, and Dani Olmo might have just done that for Dinamo.

The 21-year-old Spaniard has been highly linked with the top clubs in Europe this past Summer with Manchester City and Manchester Untied being two of the favourites to land Olmp's signature.

The former La Masia Academy player was at Barcelona the same time Pep Guardiola was Manager there and even said to the lead-up to this game what a talent Olmo is:

"I said after our home game, it was an incredible surprise. He came from the Barca academy - it's not easy, he's one of the best players in the Spain academy, and he'll come to one of the big clubs in Europe."

"I'm so glad for him, he's doing so well. The future is in his hands."

Olmo was voted in the team of the tournament for the 2019 Under-21s European Championships, where he scored three goals and nabbed four assists throughout the tournament.

Olmo however might have just scored one of the best in his career against City.

With the ball coming over his right Shoulder, Olmo was able to strike the volley in the top corner, pulling Marco Van Basten comparisons into the modern-day again.

The volley might have just sent Dinamo into the knockout stages, and the Van Basten-esque goal will be remembered by Olmo and Champions League fans alike.
