It wasn't so much Roma who helped upset Antonio Conte's Chelsea in the Champions League as a Manchester City castoff with Edin Dzeko scoring a brilliant equaliser and then putting his side ahead before Eden Hazard's equaliser.

Chelsea had started a tough Champions League group with two wins. They were expected to beat Qarabag and did but their win away against Atletico Madrid last time out was impressive.

They, and indeed their opponents Roma, were handed a boost before their game with Diego Simeone's Atleti failing to be the Azerbaijan Premier League champions and gifting them their first Champions League point in history.

That meant that Antonio Conte's side could all but guarantee that the would qualify if they beat Roma at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night. And things started well with David Luiz' smash putting them 1-0 up.

Eden Hazard doubled the lead in the first period but then things started going wrong. Former Manchester City fullback Aleksandar Kolarov pulled one back before half time and then Dzeko scored a worldie to equalise:

Things would get even worse for Conte's men as

Dzeko would score again and put the Roman's in a surprise lead, just six minutes later. However five minutes after going behind the Stamford Bridge side were back level, once again Hazard scored.

People were loving Dzeko's goal:
