Barca and Real Madrid are the two dominant forces in Spanish football and though the likes of Atletico Madrid and Valencia have had their spells, they remain the two dogs in Spain.

Many have always wondered what it would be like if somehow Barca and Real Madrid put their talents to the test in the Premier League in what would be a huge change in culture.

There's no way of really knowing in all honesty, unless some massive super league is created, the only team we will see Barca and Madrid in action in England is when they come to play Premier League sides in the Champions League.

But anyway, YouTuber Jose Manu, as brought to our attention by Dream Team, decided to have a bit of a play-around on FIFA 17 and see what happened when the two La Liga giants entered the Premier League.

He was able to insert both teams into the Premier League for a season three period, which was simulated.

Here is a brief overview of what results the experiment produced:

In short, the first season saw Manchester United come out on top, with Barcelona level on 78 points with the Red Devils but a 10-goal swing gave Jose Mourinho's side the victory.

Meanwhile, it was a poor first season in English football for Real Madrid, as they finished in 7th place on 57 points. Even West Ham, aka the kings of getting knocked out in the Europa League in the play-off rounds, finished above them.

Nordin Amrabat was the league's top scorer after scoring 20 goals, eight more than both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The second campaign saw Isco leave Real Madrid for Tottenham in a big-money summer deal and that transfer appeared to be the difference as though Real Madrid made huge strides from the previous season, they finished in second place, three points behind Spurs.

Barcelona, on the other hand, completely collapsed and ended up finishing in 11th place. Leicester City, Swansea City and Crystal Palace all finished above the Blaugrana, though the Catalans did end the season with a bit of silverware as they lifted the FA Cup.

The third and final campaign was the best performing season for the Spanish clubs on the whole, with Madrid, who again sold another big player as Toni Kroos went to Chelsea for a fee of €76.5 million finishing in fourth place and therefore securing a Champions League spot.

Barcelona finally got into their groove and won the Premier League by a five point margin over Chelsea.

Overall, a very diverse set of results for Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Premier League...
