The 84 Rated In-Form Right Back Who Is Staggeringly Cheap On FIFA Ultimate Team

What a bargain...

Every so often a bargain comes along on FIFA Ultimate Team where you can't believe what you are getting for your money.

And another gem has emerged in the latest Team of the Week.

Athletic Bilbao's Oscar De Marcos features in the team on the right side of defence and his card is pretty special.

The Spaniard, who was previously a central midfielder and put in two excellent displays against Manchester United when Marcelo Bielsa's side knocked the Red Devils out of the Europa League in 2012, has been converted to a right-back and that has led to a monstrous FIFA Ultimate Team card.

The 27-year old's standard FIFA card is 81 rated and his second in-form has seen a huge improvement.

84 rated, De Marcos has 93 sprint speed and 86 acceleration, giving him an overall pace rating of 90.

Moreover, he's got 82 positioning, 83 dribbling, 86 ball control and 90 reactions - which makes up for his lowly marking rating of 69.

80 passing and 84 physical are the final two impressive ratings in the set of statistics.

And the great thing about De Marcos' upgraded card is that he is weirdly affordable.

At the time of writing, according to Fut Bin, his last five buy now prices are 49,000 on PlayStation, while he is going for £38,000 or somewhere inbetween. That is great value when you consider that he boasts such excellent statistics in key areas and is probably the best option at right-back if you've got a La Liga team or some sort of hybrid.

A few gamers on the FIFA subreddit had a few theories for why De Marcos is going for so little.

One wrote:

"He's that cheap because people are running through the IF uprgade SBCs, if those were not out during this TOTW then he'd probably be around 100k, same with SIF Piszcek."

Another said:

"I'm sure this was probably said by now but he was released during the sbc where you get a guaranteed totw. Also everyone got a bunch of 100k packs to open so that is huge also. and we're getting near the end of fut so these cards start to fall off in price, like bailly is all the way down to 5k on ps4 O_o."

A final theory from a redditor read:

"84 rated and has been released amidst fut bday and totw sbc. He's probably being packed more than the demand for him"

If you have a team with links to La Liga or Spain, De Marcos is a must-have.
