The FIFA 18 Best XI Only Features One Premier League Player

The FIFA 18 Best XI Only Features One Premier League Player

It's packed with ability...

If you were to put together the best possible team on FIFA 18, then only one Premier League player would make the XI.

Of course, you and your subjective opinion may see it differently but purely going off the ratings for each individual player in each of the eleven positions, only one player from the English top tier gets a look-in.

With the top 100 players list from EA now complete, and the ratings of the majority of top players and teams emerging, someone has taken to FIFA Ultimate Team fan site FUT Head to build the Ultimate XI you can field on the game. It'll cost an absolute fortune but it is absolute dynamite.

GK: Manuel Neuer

The German and Bayern No.1 has been an absolute machine on FIFA games for years now, and being 92 rated on FIFA 18 means he's the best goalkeeper on the game, as well as the fifth highest-rated player on the whole.

RB: Dani Alves

Now at PSG, Alves is sure to be a popular choice at right-back for anyone who can afford him. The Brazilian is 84 rated and boasts statistics such as 82 pace and 84 dribbling.

CB: Sergio Ramos

Real Madrid's skipper is considered to be the best defender in the world by many and that's something EA agree on as his 90 rating means he's the top dog as far as central defenders on the game are concerned.

CB: Giorgio Chiellini

Following being awarded a 89 rating, the Italian rock is the second best centre-back on the game and his physical and aggressive defending style will give the most deadly attacking players a tough test.

LB: Marcelo

In terms of well-rounded left-backs in world football, no-one comes close to Marcelo and having been rated 87, he's comfortably the best left-back on the game.

CM: Toni Kroos

The supremely talented German is the ninth best player on this year's game, with the Real Madrid pass-master being handed a 90 rating.

CM: Luka Modric

You can't have Toni Kroos in midfield without his partner Luka Modric, and though there's been a heavy debate about the Croatian's rating being too low, his 89-rated card gets him a more than deserved place in the XI.

CM: Kevin De Bruyne

Fresh from grabbing two assists in the 5-0 blitzing of Liverpool, Kevin De Bruyne is the only Premier League player to feature - and completes a ridiculous midfield trio.

RW: Neymar

The most expensive player in football history features in a relatively unfamiliar role on the right flank. With 92 pace and 94 dribbling, he's going to some serious damage this year.

CF: Lionel Messi

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's rating has stayed the same as it was in FIFA 17 and the best dribbler in the game will take some stopping when he's in full flow.

LW: Cristiano Ronaldo

We finish with the cover star, and best player on the game. Possessing an insane 93 shooting, you're bound to bag a whole host of worldie long-range goals with the Real Madrid star.

What a team.
