Arsenal's ground has been recreated to perfection

The Emirates has been given an impressive face-lift following Arsenal's new partnership with Pro Evolution Soccer's producers KONAMI.

The Gunners reached a deal with the Japanese company last month.

And KONAMI are now recreating Arsene Wenger's squad using its 'proprietary 3D scanning system' - to improve players' facial and physical features.

However, it's not just Alexis Sanchez and his team-mates who are getting a makeover, the creators of PES have also made several improvements to Arsenal's Emirates stadium.

KONAMI revealed in early October that they were to be given extensive access to the Emirates for its future inclusion in the game, with the intention to release the club as a data pack later this year.

And the results are simply stunning, in fact, you'd be forgiven for thinking this was a real-life tour of Arsenal's home:

Outside the realms of virtual reality, Arsenal have been on an excellent run of form recently, having won their last 12 games at home, including last night's 5-0 win over Huddersfield.

Next to visit the Emirates will be Jose Mourinho's Manchester United, who make the trip to north London on Saturday afternoon.
