FIFA 19 can always be a tense moment when it all comes down to a penalty shootout.
Yeah, that's right. We've all been there.
Sure, everyone thinks about smashing five past their mates and getting them to write a Facebook apology, but things don't always end up going to plan, do they?
What would happen if a shootout ended up going over 1,000 penalties?
Well, that's exactly what YouTuber DTT has put to the test.
DTT sets up a Champions League final match between Real Madrid and Barcelona, so there couldn't be a bigger battle than El Clásico to try out this experiment.
The shootout starts off fine, with it keeping track of the penalties scored in the top-left corner of the screen. However, the boxes eventually turn red the higher and higher that the YouTuber goes with scoring penalties.
When he reaches 1,000, FIFA 19 continues to run as normal. Yes, the shootout counter can accommodate the numbers when they reach the thousands.

El Clásico ends after 2,001 penalties are taken, by the way. Marc-André ter Stegen scores from the spot kick for Barcelona, while Thibaut Courtois blazes his shot over the bar.
In other FIFA news, Lionel Messi has received his first Team of the Week card in Ultimate Team and EA Sports is dropping a new update to remove lag from the title.
FIFA 19 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
