Real Madrid without Ronaldo is a bit like Saturday morning's sausage sandwich without brown sauce, and I will fight anyone who disagrees me on this, but now we know what FIFA 19's sausage sandwich will look like, or something.
I've said this a lot on articles to do with Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus this summer but I really mean it and it needs repeating. Real Madrid without Cristiano Ronaldo still seems a bit strange to me.
It's not quite like Steven Gerrard spending 17 years as a Liverpool first teamer before moving to LA Galaxy but Cristiano Ronaldo's nine years at Real saw him become almost as synonymous with Los Blancos as Gerrard was with the Reds.
Furthermore Ronaldo hasn't moved to the MLS or to the Chinese Super League instead he's move to Juventus, one of the biggest clubs in the world whose results we check on every week and we often watch.

Meanwhile at the Bernabeu their lead scorer of all time has waltzed out the building and they're yet to replace his 40 goals a season with any new attacking signings, that just seems odd.
However things aren't actually looking too shoddy for Julen Lopetegui and his side, as is demonstrated by the FIFA 19 rankings for Real's starting XI:
Gareth Bale will be hoping that he can take over from Cristiano Ronaldo as Real's go to man, now that the man he was always expected to take over from has sod off, but despite an excellent 88 rating he's still not Real's numero uno attacker.

Instead that honour falls to Isco. The Spain midfielder is Real's best attacker with 89, although he's still outdone by three players in the team, including the goalkeeper.
Thibaut Courtois, newly signed from Chelsea, has a 90 rating, as does Germany midfielder Toni Kroos but World Cup Golden Ball winner Luka Modric is their best player on 91.
Of course those are all decent numbers for the Real players but a quick look across to Juventus' player ratings show that Ronaldo is still the man:
How will Real do without their brown sauce or will Ronaldo turn out to be more like the sausage?
