Even if he's not managed to win the World Cup with the team yet, Bastian Schweinsteiger is enjoying life at Chicago Fire.

The German has scored two goals in three MLS games since ending his miserable spell at Manchester United.

(Remember that American reporter asking Schweinsteiger about winning the world cup?)

He'll be next in action on Friday as Fire travel to Canada to face Toronto FC, where he'll be looking to maintain his fine form and help Chicago stretch their unbeaten run to four games.

Schweinsteiger and the rest of the team were at the airport In Toronto recently after travelling for their next fixture, and a woman wanted a photo with some of the players.

But despite being the most decorated player in the squad and being present, Schweinsteiger was seemingly not one of the players asked to be on the photo.

Instead, he was asked to take the photo!

World Cup winner, Champions League winner and 8-time Bundesliga winner Bastian Schweinsteiger was asked to take the photo, not to be in it.

Being the top bloke that he is, Schweini was happy to oblige.

Eric Gehrig, Chicago Fire assistant manager, posted this brilliant tweet about Schweinsteiger being asked to put his photographer cap on.

It turns out that some fans were well aware of the 32-year old and he was happy to pose for a couple of pictures.

Great stuff from Schweinsteiger, but imagine being that lady?!

A similar situation occurred a couple of years back when a fan asked four-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi to take a picture of him and Javier Mascherano.

He must have been a huge Mascherano fan!
