What Happened When Klopp Text Klavan To Say He Wanted To Sign Him

Ragnar Klavan has revealed an incredible story of how Jurgen Klopp tried to sign him.

The Estonian was signed from Augsburg in 2016 for a fee of £4.2 million - which made him the most expensive Estonian of all time - but upon finding out that Jurgen Klopp wanted to bring him to the guy, he thought it was all a prank.

He gave an interview to Des Kelly of BT Sport prior to the away game against Sevilla and revealed that when he received a text from Klopp, expressing interest in him.

However, the 32-year old wasn't having it and asked for confirmation that it was him. And hilariously that confirmation arrived in the form of a selfie from Klopp.

Twitter has been full of reactions, with Liverpool fans absolutely loving the little anecdote of their crazy manager:
