Throwback to when Xabi Alonso appeared alongside Carlo Ancelotti at his press conference where he revealed his intention of retiring at the end of the season, and couldn't help but mention beating the Italian manager in Istanbul.

Alonso was of course part of the Liverpool team which beat Ancelotti's AC Milan in the Champions League final in 2005, despite the Serie A giants having a 3-0 lead in the first-half.

However, second-half strikes from Steven Gerrard, Vladimír Šmicer and Alonso himself made sure the game went to penalties, with Rafael Benitez's side prevailing in the shoot-out.

And Alonso made sure to mention Liverpool's majestic comeback as he sat alongside Ancelotti this week.

Thankfully Alonso's manager was in good spirits and replied, "He knows that cup is mine."

As Alonso mentioned, he also won the Champions League with Ancelotti while the pair were at Real Madrid, meaning the Spaniard could lift the trophy for a third team with a different club in May.
