If I had a pound for every time I've written I about 'the worst dive in football history', I'd probably be a very rich man.
Only last month, Victor Moses produced an absolute stinker of a dive in the FA Cup final against Arsenal at Wembley, only to be outdone by the pathetic theatrics of Hungarian striker Danko Lazovic in the game between Videoton and Honved.
Though he was fouled, the antics of the former PSV and Feyenoord man are absolutely mental - flopping and rolling over the place as if he's having some sort of exorcism or near-death experience. Legs and arms being thrown vigorously, with the 34-year old even refusing the aid of his teammates in order to keep his art of conning on point.

At the time, I'd called the dive the worst I've ever seen but a new contender has emerged and it's safe to say this one takes the cake.
In the crunch clash between Bahia and Flamengo last night, which saw the visitors come away with a 1-0 win, Bahia defender Lucas Fonseca produced an Oscar worthy performance in the first half.
You really need to check out the ridiculous play-acting here:

After giving opposition striker Paolo Guerrero a good old Kung-Fu kick to the back, when the former Bayern Munich and Hamburg man reacted, slightly brushing Fonseca, he delayed his reaction before going down like a sack of potatoes and flinging himself to the floor.
As a result of the altercation, Guerrero was shown a yellow card while Fonseca was deservedly given his second caution of the game and sent for an early bath.
If we're being totally honest, he should probably never be allowed to play again after his poor attempt at selling.

Here's how Twitter reacted:
Shame on you, Lucas Fonseca.
