Paul Merson is no stranger to bizarre comments, but this statement he made earlier on Gillette Soccer Saturday may be the strangest yet.
When he's not butchering players names, the Sky pundit gives terrible transfer advice, if you can even call it that.
In today's pre-game discussion, Merson recommended that West Ham offload Dmitri Payet for £30 million while they replace him with Manchester United's Anthony Martial.
Now, it gets worse.
The former Arsenal and Villa man suggested The Hammers could poach the United starlet for a measly £20 million!
