It's good to see Kurt Zouma finally back on the pitch as he eases back into the Chelsea fold following his devastating knee injury 12-months ago. The French defender was forced to sit on the sidelines as his nation hosted the European Championships.

The 22-year-old is renowned for his energy and personality. Some even say he has the biggest smile in football, so when you pick up on the fact that his name is Kurt 'Happy' Zouma then it's really quite fitting.

And while the Chelsea vs. Manchester United clash has everyone talking, it's the origin of 'Kurt Zouma's' name which has peaked our interest.

"My parents were watching a film and it starred Jean-Claude Van Damme, the actor." He said in a segment filmed by FA TV.

Before revealing how his parents inspired them to name their son, Kurt. Because of JCVD's involvement in Kickboxer, obviously.

"He was killing everyone in the movie and at the end of the movie, they saw that his name was Kurt. They said, okay we'll call this kid Kurt and we'll put Happy (as his middle name) because he will always be happy."

Kurt Happy Zouma is a great name, to be fair!
