How typical of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he didn't even play but he stole the show at the Europa League final.

The towering Swede was apart of the Manchester United traveling party to Sweden as they faced Ajax in the Europa League.

Though, unfortunately, United were without his services after he injured his knee ligaments in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The injury he sustained against Anderlecht resulted in him missing the rest of the season, and even potentially keeping him on the sideline till early 2018.

Prompting United fans fearing he may have played his final game in a red shirt.

Needless to say, the fans want him to stay and are going to extreme lengths to hold onto the enigmatic 35-year-old.

Hundreds of flags and banners were featured across the 'Zlatan Stadium' including one which read, 'Zlatan, stay and you can shag my life.'

The hilarious banner was so good that the man himself wanted a picture with it.

United beat Ajax 2-0 courtesy of goals from Paul Pogba in the first half, then Henrikh Mkhitaryan who netted in the second half.

Following the Europa League final victory - United's first in their history, the club have not only bagged their third silverware of the season but also a spot in the Champions League.

In his debut season, Jose Mourinho has clinched the Community Shield, League Cup and now the Europa League.

Despite the poor league showing, have United had a good season?
