You only need to watch Ian Wright in action for 30 seconds to know that the Arsenal legend is a supremely confident human being and, during an appearance on BT Sport this weekend, the Gunners icon displayed that confidence to the utmost.

A question was sent into the BT studio which queried, out of the three former Premier League strikers providing punditry; Wright, Chris Sutton and Michael Owen, who had the better left foot. Wright's answer was so emphatic that Sutton or Owen didn't even get a look in.

When you compare the goal scoring records of the three strikers, you can surmise that Wright's confidence is not misplaced. The former Arsenal and Crystal Palace striker hit a total of 323 club goals in his career, while Sutton and Owen scored 193 and 222 respectively. And the public seemed to agree with his statement.

Although one Liverpool fan was quick to remind Wright what foot Michael Owen scored with against Arsenal in the 2001 FA Cup final, when Liverpool beat the Gunners 2-1 at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.

Wright, a Premier League winner with Arsenal in 1998, was the club's all time leading goal scorer until Thierry Henry overtook him in October of 2005.
