UEFA Offend Both Manchester Teams In A Single Post

Whoever was handling the UEFA Champions League social media channels tonight had an absolute howler as they managed to offend both Manchester clubs in the same post.

When posting an image of the half-time scores, the account mentioned and tagged Manchester United and said that they equalised just before half-time. There was indeed an equaliser just before the break but as everyone knows, it was Manchester City, the only Manchester team playing in the Champions League that scored.

The original post has since been changed but people were quick to pick up on the error.

Let's hope the UEFA Europa League Facebook page get it right tomorrow when United host Feyenoord in a must-win game at Old Trafford.
