The 'Wenger Out' Campaign Is Now Taking Over People's Weddings

The 'Wenger Out' Campaign Is Now Taking Over People's Weddings

A step too far?

The campaign to oust any football manager from his position always has the tendency to turn ugly or far fetched or, if you're an Arsenal fan attempting to unseat Arsene Wenger from the Emirates stadium dugout, a relentless, all encompassing worldwide military operation.

Towards the back end of the last few seasons, more and more dissenting voices have been heard around the red half of North London, letting the Frenchman know, in no uncertain terms, that his time as Arsenal manager is up.

Wenger has failed to deliver a league title to the Gunners trophy room in 13 years, lifting only three FA Cups in that same period of time.

It's a fact that has become unbearable for many fans to bear, especially since even Leicester City are winning the Premier League nowadays.

Some fans have even taken to protesting outside the club's training ground...

The latest spring meltdown has apparently been a step too far for many Gunners fans, who are now taking their protests worldwide, with 'Wenger Out' banners and placards (shite, A4 printouts, mainly) now no longer restricted to the stands at the Emirates stadium or the away ends of various Premier League grounds or Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena, where so many of Arsenal's Champions League dreams have gone to die.

Instead, 'Wenger Out' can now be seen in Times Square, New Yor, Australian A-League games and Coachella music festival among other venues around the globe. It's also become prevalent in the world of professional wrestling, with WrestleMania and Monday Night Raw no strangers to the campaign against the former Monaco boss.

And now, one couple has even allowed their disdain for the 67-year-old to take pride of place on their wedding day:

Are there now no lengths Arsenal fans will not go to in order to have their voices heard by the club's board?

If you've got a picture of a baby being christened in a 'Wenger Out' emblazoned baptism gown, please feel free to send it into us. I mean, we'll definitely judge the child's parents, but we'll still want to see the picture nonetheless.
