The Reason Behind Jamie Vardy's Black Eye

A goal, a headbutt and a black eye. Jamie Vardy was the talk of the England game following their 2-0 victory against Lithuania.

The Leicester City frontman replaced Jermain Defoe and made an instant impression, and we're not talking about the goal.

As soon as Vardy entered the fray, everyone was quick to notice Vardy's eye - black eye or eye-liner?

But thanks to his wife, Rebekah, we now know the reason behind his shiner. So, sorry folks he's not wearing any make-up or part of a drag act.

According to his wife, Vardy was indeed sporting a black eye from being hit by a ball.

A Twitter used posted; "Who's twatted Vardy then." To which it was quote Tweeted with the following response:
